Posts have been few and far between due to real world writing duties; posts will remain few for some time to come...Sorry.
Meanwhile, the Notre Dame football team has been moving through spring practices.
* Spring always means player-interest stories in the media. Here are a few so far:
QB Dayne Crist: Irish insights blog; Fort Wayne Journal Gazette
QB Nate Montana: South Bend Tribune; Irish Sports Daily
LB Manti Te'o: Irish Sports Daily; Elkhart Truth; BlueandGold.com
WR Shaquelle Evans: Irish Sports Daily
WR John Goodman: Fort Wayne Journal Gazette
RB Armando Allen: South Bend Tribune
OL Braxton Cave: South Bend Tribune; Irish Sports Daily; BlueandGold.com
OL Matt Romine: South Bend Tribune
LB Anthony McDonald: Irish Sports Daily
* A coaching change also brings out the usual tropes and motifs...
As example...
Stewart Mandel, SI.com [here] and Mark Schlabach, ESPN.com [here].
* Prayers to the family of Matt James. Nothing else to say.
* I'm also very late in posting about Notre Dame's first two recruits for the next recruiting cycle: Brad Carrico and Jordan Prestwood.

I was directed to your blog through a link at Blue/Gray Sky. Although my own blog (http://notredamecivilwar.blogspot.com) is not ND sports-oriented it is ND history-oriented and may be of interest to your readers, esp. those who attended ND or who (like me) are among that enduring crowd of "subway alumni"…I would be most pleased and honored if you would put in a plug for my blog and forthcoming book. I will be adding other ND blogs - including yours - to a blog roll very soon.
All My Best,
Jim Schmidt
